Our Story
Mark and Pat Roser served in Africa as missionaries for 22 years. They are native Cincinnatians who have led thousands to faith in Christ and have mentored many who are active in fulltime ministry around the world.
They pioneered two churches. Lighthouse Church in Chitungwiza grew to a 1000 members while Mark provided materials for 54 home groups. At the same time, Mark developed a Bible College from 53 students to 242, and from a two year program to a four year bachelor degree.
They planted Borrowdale Brooke Church in Harare and helped hundreds emigrate to many parts of the world during the Zimbabwe crisis.
Mark and Pat also began to feed children who lost their parents to AIDS. Zimbabwe’s life expectancy is now a mere 34 years with 2 million orphans.
The Rosers dream is to: evangelize, plant churches, disciple believers, care for the most vulnerable (orphans, and widows), raise up leaders, and multiply themselves by equipping others who are called to “Go."
